Established in 2016 by Damir Hecimovic, OTR/L, DH Therapy has been dedicated to providing exceptional pediatric therapy services tailored for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities. With Damir's Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Brenau University as the foundation, our center specializes in a comprehensive range of therapies including occupational, physical, speech, and ABA therapy, all designed to address the unique needs of each individual.

Damir is hands-down the best OT we’ve used - and we’ve lived on both coasts. My son absolutely loves him! He makes OT so fun my child doesn’t even realize it’s therapy - and the results are amazing. We just finished our third round of Tomatis with Damir and my son is now reading aloud - which is a significant gain for a once minimally verbal child. Damir connects with my son, encourages him and empowers him through play. Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologists, also known as SLPs or Speech Therapists, specialize in communication disorders in children, addressing a range of issues from speech and language to social and cognitive communication, as well as swallowing/feeding disorders. This expertise encompasses prevention, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, as defined by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
ABA
THERAPY
Our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) approach focuses on individualized support for children, targeting communication, self-care, and social skills. Using play and positive reinforcement, our ABA team led by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) collaborates with caregivers to create tailored learning plans, while Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) provide one-on-one support to foster a positive environment for skill development and ongoing growth.
