APPLIED BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS (ABA) THERAPY SERVICES

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based practice that addresses the individual needs of each child. Communication, self-care, social, and other skill domains can be targeted in addition to any areas of concern for the family. The ABA team at DH Therapy focuses on teaching through play and the use of positive reinforcement to strengthen the independence of each child and foster an environment of fun for the learner. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will collaborate with caregivers to identify areas of support and create an individualized learning plan to target desired skills while Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) work one-on-one with the child and create a positive, skills-based environment. The BCBA provides ongoing collaboration to families, RBTs, and other service providers to ensure the child’s support network is equipped to promote independence and ongoing growth across environments.
